 2008 to Present:  Personal Financial Counselor for Department of Defense

            Contract with Managed Health Network Government Services to provide Military and their    

            families’ financial education and counseling,  nationally.

 

 

 2008 to 2009:   Approved provider for Bankruptcy Education  

            Providing bankruptcy education on the phone and on line for people completing their

            bankruptcy process.

 

 2004 -2008: Family Living Agent, UW Extension Clark County, WI

            Partner with community in providing education in the areas of Money

Management. Develop training materials, fact sheets, and news releases to

promote and support community education. Participate as member and then

co-facilitator of state financial team and news release committee. Participate

as a train the trainer in statewide diversity team.  Organized local community

members to form Alliance for Financial Literacy in Clark County.  Provide

individual financial counseling, pre and post bankruptcy financial counseling and

education, and train local volunteers to provide financial counseling. 

 

 1996- presnt  National Speaker, Publisher, Author, Financial Consultant

            Developed independent business called Money and Me. Provide educational

            workshop’s and books on financial wellness and personal money management.

    

  2001–2002  Project Coordinator, Northwoods Save, UW Extension, Rhinelander, WI

            Initiated the first rural model for America Saves, with the support of the national

            America  Saves Campaign and UW Extension Oneida County Wisconsin,

            (Northwoods Saves) in three counties.

 

 2001  Financial Counselor, Forward Service, Rhinelander, WI

            Social Service agency contracted services to provided financial counseling to low
            income clients and provided training to staff.

 

 1994-97 Financial Consultant, Ceridian - EAR, Bloomington, Minnesota;

            EAR (Employee Assistance and Resources) is a national phone based employee

            Assistance program. Developed coordinated and provided trainings for new counselors,

            developed and updated training materials, and provided ongoing trainings to keep

            counselors up-to- date on skills and knowledge.
